Privacy Policy
Designer Digital (Designer Digital) respects your privacy. This policy describes what data we collect when you use designer.digital, how we use it, and your rights under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy legislation.
Information we collect
- Contact form data. When you submit the contact form, we receive the name, email, phone (if provided), business name, project type, budget, timeline, and message you supply. This data is used to respond to your inquiry and is forwarded to our internal CRM.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider (Vercel) records standard server logs including IP address, user agent, requested URL, and timestamp. These logs are used for security monitoring and performance analysis. Retention: 30 days by default.
- Analytics. We may use privacy-respecting analytics (e.g. Vercel Analytics, Plausible) which do not use cookies and do not track individuals across sites. No personally identifiable information is recorded.
How we use information
- To respond to inquiries and provide quotes for project work.
- To deliver agreed-upon services to clients.
- To improve our website and services through aggregate analytics.
- To comply with legal obligations.
How we share information
We do not sell or rent personal information. We share information only with: (a) service providers we use to run our business (email delivery, CRM, payment processing), each bound by contractual confidentiality; and (b) where required by law.
Cookies
We do not use tracking cookies for advertising. We may use a small number of essential cookies for site functionality (e.g. preview mode for development).
Your rights

Data retention
Contact form submissions are retained in our CRM for the duration of the business relationship and for a reasonable period afterward (typically 3 years) for accounting and contract reference.
Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we do our best to apply current best practices.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of the page reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated via the website.
